Bringing the Internet onto the TV

There’s a lot of talk about bringing TV onto the Internet, but a lot of that content goes … back up onto the TV. After all, you spent a pretty penny on that big screen, didn’t you? If you’re like many others, you now watch your internet TV episodes on your TV.
Research has shown that over 290 million homes worldwide are able to view internet TV and online video. The research compiled last year also showed that 28 million households also were able to view internet streams on their traditional TV by way of a connecting cable.
Personally, since my catch-up TV tends to be pretty embarrassing (think Hell’s Kitchen and the Bachelor[ette] — I’ll often watch the episodes on my laptop in my room where noone can see me. Don’t judge!
